Westwood, Massachusetts, (12/28/2008) – Simton Technologies released a new IPX product series, the IPX H600, as the next generation of the IPX H500 series. Compared to the H500, the system capacity of H600 has been significantly increased and performance in both data and voice processing has been enhanced.
The IPX H600 series offers three models, H608-2 (8 FXS and 2 FXO), H604-4 (4 FXS and 4 FXO), and H600-6 (6 FXO). IPX H600 hardware has a complete new design. The number of DSP chips has been doubled and on-board storage size is 10 times larger than that of the H500. The hardware change allows the easy addition of new IP PBX services such as voice mail services, alarm services, voice recording and monitoring, customizable IVR, flexible ACD, etc.
Similar to the IPX H500 series, the IPX H600 is ideal for offices or call centers that have 8 to 30 users. Multiple IPX systems may stack up to support more users. The IPX H600 supports PSTN lines, VoIP lines, and VoIP trunks to carrier networks or neighbor IPX networks. Flexible call routing helps set up virtual offices or virtual call centers easily.
Simton promises to support the IPX H500 series indefinitely, but not all new features of the IPX H600 will be available on the IPX H500 series.
